Senior Program Manager at DNAstack

Maggie Clark is a Senior Program Manager at DNAstack. Prior to joining DNAstack, they were a Manager at MaRS Discovery District, where they led end-to-end design, implementation, and improvement of digital products, including strategic product road mapping, requirements gathering, UX design, prototyping, QA, user feedback, etc. Maggie was also responsible for managing client relationships for 2 multi-year federal government programs and 2 corporate contracts. In addition, they directly managed a user research team of 3 reports and advised on processes, written reports, and workshop design. Furthermore, Maggie organized online and in-person events for partners, cumulatively totaling 10 events with over 1000 attendees.

Prior to their role as Manager, Maggie was a Senior Associate at MaRS Discovery District where they led 3 Innovation Challenges - public, pan-Canadian competitions that sought to find novel technologies and/or data sources to help solve systemic problems. Her responsibilities included marketing/outreach, stakeholder engagement, participant coordination, launch and closing event organization, and performance evaluation and reporting. The three challenges Maggie led were the Opioid Data Challenge (sponsored by the Public Health Agency of Canada), the Power Forward Challenge (sponsored by Natural Resources Canada and the UK Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy), and the Healthy Neighbourhoods Data Challenge (sponsored by the Public Health Agency of Canada).

Maggie Clark has a Bachelor of Science from University of Guelph in Nutritional and Nutraceutical Sciences (NANS). Maggie also has a Master of Science (MSc) from Københavns Universitet in Human Nutrition. Maggie Clark also has a Certificate from George Brown College in Culinary Arts. Furthermore, they have two Coursera certifications, one in Health Behaviour Change: From Evidence to Action and the other in Public Health Perspectives on Sustainable Diets.

They are on a team with Heather Ward - Bioinformatics Lead, Christine Beyaert - VP, Partnerships, and Miro Cupak - Co-Founder & CTO. Maggie Clark reports to Marc Fiume, Co-Founder & CEO.
