Espen Skagen

Espen Skagen is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in portfolio management. Currently serving as a Senior Portfolio Manager at DNB Asset Management since April 2012, Skagen oversees two funds focused on European Covered Bonds and low-risk government and supranational securities. Prior to this role, Skagen was a Senior Portfolio Manager at Eksportfinans ASA from August 2010 to March 2012, managing a liquidity reserve of 35 billion, primarily invested in the financial sector. Skagen's earlier experience at Norges Bank Investment Management included positions such as Fixed Income Portfolio Manager, Assistant Portfolio Manager, Analyst, Project Leader, and Head of Performance, managing substantial portfolios and implementing key projects.
