Safdar Aqeel

Safdar Aqeel, PhD, currently serves as Lead IT Architect - KYC & Customer Onboarding at DNB, where significant contributions include the development of the IT strategy and KYC roadmap, as well as leading the architecture for a global standardized KYC solution. Additionally, Safdar held positions as IT Architect, focusing on the design of a resilient Kafka-based event hub platform and development of RESTful APIs. As Technical Co-Founder & CEO of Operta since August 2023, leadership and business development efforts are prioritized. Safdar's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Computer Software Engineering from the University of Oslo and extensive collaboration with industry partners, resulting in several published research articles.
