Garrett Lyons has a diverse work experience in operations management and environmental health and safety. Garrett started their career in 1996 as an Environmental Health and Safety Specialist at Sony Chemicals Corporation of America, where they established ISO9001/14001 Quality/Environmental Management System and received a Sony environmental award. Garrett then became an Environmental Health and Safety Manager, renewing TitleV Permit and achieving a 30% reduction in TRIR through a hazard assessment and control program. In 2001, they were promoted to Operations Manager, overseeing barcode and dye sublimation ribbon manufacturing and establishing a DVD adhesive process that led to business unit growth and profitability. In 2008, they joined DNP IMS America Corporation as the Director of Production Operations, managing various functions and implementing a cellular packaging process. Currently, they serve as the Vice President of Operations at DNP Imagingcomm America Corporation, where they hold a key leadership role.
Garrett Lyons attended James Madison University from 1991 to 1995, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry. Garrett then went on to study at Duquesne University from 1998 to 2001, earning a Master of Science degree in Environmental Science and Management. In addition to their formal education, Garrett also obtained a certification in "Rewarding Employees" from LinkedIn in May 2017.
