Ralph Steffens

Ralph Steffens is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the telecommunications industry, currently serving as Co-Chief Executive Officer at DNS:NET Internet Service GmbH since July 2023. Previously, Ralph was the CEO of Truphone from January 2016 to August 2022, and the President & Chief Operating Officer at Reliance Jio Infocomm from 2014 to January 2016, where operational foundations were delivered for one of the largest startups in the sector. As Chief Operating Officer at NBN Co Limited from 2011 to 2014, Ralph established a significant operational team for a national broadband network, expanding it from 300 to over 2000 employees in 18 months. Ralph's career also includes a role as Managing Director of Service Delivery at BT from 2003 to 2011, overseeing global services for multinational corporate customers. Earlier positions include Director of Network Engineering at COLT Telecom from 1996 to 2003, where a major Pan European network was delivered ahead of schedule and under budget. Ralph holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Telecommunications Engineering from FH Darmstadt.
