Aadil Hamzabhai

Aadil Hamzabhai is an experienced finance professional currently serving as the Head of Accounting and Compliance at DNV since January 2014. Aadil has held various significant roles, including Chief Accountant for Oman, Iran, Bahrain, UAE, and Saudi Arabia, and has managed Record to Report for the Middle East and Africa. Prior to DNV, Aadil worked at BDO UAE as a Senior Associate in Assurance Services, responsible for preparing comprehensive financial statements and conducting audits in compliance with international standards. Aadil's professional journey began as an Article Trainee at SNK & Co. and PKMG & Co., where foundational skills in auditing and taxation were developed. Aadil holds a Chartered Accountant designation from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, is pursuing an ACCA certification in International Financial Reporting Standards, has completed intermediate training in Company Secretary from The Institute of Company Secretaries of India, and is in the process of attaining the Associate Chartered Management Accountant and Chartered Global Management Accountant certifications from CIMA.
