Andrés Linares

Andrés Linares is a seasoned professional in the renewable energy sector, currently serving as Market Segment Manager for Power & Renewables in Mexico, Central America, and the Caribbean at DNV since March 2022. Prior experience includes the role of Director of Renewable Energy Projects at RENAR and project development responsibilities at ABEI ENERGY, where Andrés successfully established the company's presence in Mexico. Earlier positions involved civil engineering work at Iberdrola, where contributions were made to the due diligence process for a wind farm acquisition in South Africa, and supervisory roles in construction at Grupo Lar, overseeing significant projects. Andrés’ educational background includes a Master’s degree in Renewable Energy Engineering from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid and a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from Tecnológico de Monterrey, complemented by business studies at Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences.
