Anje Deschoolmeester

Anje Deschoolmeester is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the energy, oil and gas, and consulting sectors, currently serving as the VP of Energy Systems Service Area at DNV since November 2001. Responsibilities include overseeing advisory activities related to markets, risk, and power grids across Southern Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Latin America. Anje has held various leadership roles, including VP & Area Manager for Western Europe and Algeria, Senior Principal Consultant, Regional Manager for West Mediterranean and North-Africa, and Area Manager for South East Asia and the Pacific, demonstrating expertise in operational leadership and project management. Anje’s previous experience at Reilly Chemicals and Reilly Industries involved engineering, process optimization, and project management, complemented by a Master’s degree in Chemistry from Ghent University and further education from INSEAD, KU Leuven, and IMD.
