Gerard Akse

Gerard Akse is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in software engineering and business development, currently serving as a Business Development Manager and Senior Consultant at DNV since July 2011. In this versatile role, Gerard combines customer relations, advisory, and project management expertise, specializing in technical standards such as IEC 61850, IEEE 1815 (DNP3), and IEC 62439-3 (PRP/HSR). Prior to DNV, Gerard held various software engineering positions at Cimsolutions and Thales, working on projects across diverse industries, including defense and telecommunications.
