Jim Bleeg

Jim Bleeg is a Principal Researcher in Renewables at DNV, where they focus on wind farm flow modeling and the atmospheric interactions affecting these systems. Previously, they led the CFD team at DNV GL, managing all CFD activities in North America and significantly contributing to over 90 wind power projects globally. With a background in turbine engineering at GL Garrad Hassan and a decade at Pratt & Whitney as a Technical Team Leader in Aeromechanics, Jim has demonstrated extensive expertise in aerodynamics and aeroelasticity. They hold a Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University.
