Katy Briggs

Katy Briggs is a highly experienced Principal Consultant at DNV, specializing in Clean Energy Manufacturing with a focus on Energy Storage Advisory and Manufacturing Due Diligence. Since July 2007, Katy has held various leadership roles at DNV, including Strategy Lead for Energy, Global Service Area Leader for Renewables Advisory, and Head of Section for Asset Optimization & SCADA and Wind Energy Analysis. Responsibilities have included strategic development, benchmarking of renewable assets, technical due diligence, and leading diverse teams. Additionally, Katy serves as a Board Member for Women of Renewable Industries and Sustainable Energy (WRISE) and as a Tech Advisory Council Member for Washington Clean Energy Testbeds. Prior experience includes engineering roles at Boeing, with a strong educational background comprising a Master’s degree in Physics from the University of Washington and a Bachelor’s degree in Physics from Pacific Lutheran University.
