Matthew Rowland

Matthew Rowland serves as the Head of Technical, Quality and Governance for Medical Europe at DNV since February 2022, overseeing medical device technical file assessments for compliance with EU MDR. Previously, Matthew held roles as Senior R&D Leader and Project Leader at Contamac Ltd, and Project Leader and Materials Development Chemist at AQDOT Limited, focusing on innovative product development and collaboration. Matthew's academic background includes a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Cambridge and a Master's degree in Chemistry from the University of Warwick, which included integrated industrial experience at Chroma Therapeutics and a student placement at Cancer Research Technology.
