Morten Løvstad is a seasoned professional in the maritime industry with extensive experience in business development, marketing, and technical consultancy. Currently serving as Vice President and Business Director for Bulk Carriers at DNV since September 2014, Løvstad oversees global marketing and sales for the dry bulk segment. Prior to this role, Løvstad held various positions at DNV, including Technical Director and Business Director for Bulk Carriers, contributing to significant market share growth. Løvstad also served as Vice President for Business Development at I M Skaugen SE, leading energy efficiency projects for a fleet of gas carriers. With a strong background in product management and development, Løvstad has been instrumental in launching innovative maritime solutions. Løvstad holds an M.Sc. in Structural Informatics from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology and has participated in executive programs at INSEAD and IMD.
