Motunrayo Shafau

Motunrayo Shafau is an accomplished communication specialist currently serving at DNV as an Internal & External Communication Specialist since September 2021. In this role, Motunrayo contributes to high-quality content development to support the transition towards a digital and eco-friendly future in the classification industry. Previously, Motunrayo was part of the winning project team as an Innovation Consultant at DNV's Next Generation Summit 2022, focusing on carbon-free energy business models. Earlier experience includes managing communication strategies at LGI and participating in various EU-funded projects, as well as serving as a Special Correspondent for The Foreign Policy Project, promoting diverse voices in foreign policy. Motunrayo's career commenced with roles in communications and public relations across several organizations, including Africa Internet Group and Imbue Magazine. Motunrayo holds a Master’s Degree in International Security from Sciences Po and a Bachelor’s degree in International/Global Studies from Ahmadu Bello University.
