Naphtal Haya

Naphtal Haya is an experienced energy storage engineering consultant at DNV, involved in technology reviews, safety projects, and financial model assessments for independent engineering projects since July 2022. Previously, Naphtal served as a peer tutor and tutor mentor at Harvard University, facilitating learning in Swahili, Physical Sciences, Math, and Engineering Thermodynamics. Additional roles at Harvard included Dorm Crew Captain, Research Assistant, Course Assistant for the African Languages Program, and Political Action Chair for the Harvard African Students Association, where Naphtal organized meetings and discussions. An internship at DNV GL ENERGY INSIGHTS USA focused on energy storage engineering tasks for over 20 projects, complemented by founding the Riziki Na Amani Modern Agriculture Project and working as a relationship officer at Equity Bank Kenya. Naphtal holds a Bachelor of Science in Bioengineering/Engineering Sciences from Harvard University.
