Rachel Murray

Rachel Murray, P.E. is a seasoned engineering professional currently serving as a Principal Engineering Consultant at DNV since November 2007. Previous experience includes serving as a Volunteer with Safe Kids Worldwide from 2003 to 2007, focusing on reducing pediatric injuries in homes and vehicles. Prior to that, Rachel worked as a Senior Acoustical Consultant at Wilson, Ihrig & Associates, Inc. from May 2001 to April 2004, and as a Principal Consultant at Charles M. Salter Associates, Inc. from May 1988 to December 1996, where responsibilities involved project and client management along with acoustical engineering consulting. Early in Rachel's career, experience as a Senior Systems Engineer at ESL/TRW from 1986 to 1988 involved acoustical digital signal processing design. Rachel holds both an MS and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Penn State University.
