Xiangkun Cao

Xiangkun (Elvis) Cao is a senior consultant specializing in carbon dioxide removal at DNV. Cao has held various prestigious positions, including Activate Fellow, Schmidt Science Fellow (Lifelong Fellowship), and Carbon Removal Justice Fellow in the inaugural cohort at the Institute for Carbon Removal Law and Policy. Additionally, Cao served as an Impact Fellow in the inaugural cohort at the MIT Climate & Sustainability Consortium (MCSC). Academically, Cao earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University and participated in a summer program at Nanyang Technological University Singapore in the School of Biological Sciences.
