Ty Sordelet

Ty Sordelet serves as the Vice President of Logistics and Director of Operations at Do it Best since July 2022. Previously, Ty worked at Amazon from June 2018 to August 2022 as General Manager for Pathways, achieving significant improvements in logistics performance and safety metrics. Ty held the position of Assistant Professor at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign between March 2016 and May 2018, focusing on naval engineering systems and risk management compliance. Prior military experience includes serving as a Submarine Officer in the US Navy, where Ty led watch teams and received top rankings in leadership and operations. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Nuclear Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the United States Naval Academy.
