Jamie Thompson has a diverse work experience in the design and creative field. They started their career as an Assistant Photographer at ID Magazine in 2007 and later worked as a Junior Designer at Moving Brands. In 2008, they joined AKQA as a Junior Designer for Nike and then moved on to Kin as an Art Director/Senior Designer. In 2011, they became an Art Director at DesignStudio London and continued to work in the role until 2014. Jamie then returned to AKQA as an Art Director for Nike from 2014 to 2016. They further expanded their experience as a Senior Art Director/Creative Lead at Seventy Agency and as the Head of Art Direction/Head of Design at VICELAND International at VICE Media. From 2018 to 2021, Jamie worked as a Creative Director at Brave. Currently, Jamie is working as a Design Director at Doberman since 2021.
Jamie Thompson has a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design from the University of the Arts London. They also have a Master's degree in Interaction Design from The Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL. Additionally, Jamie has a Master of Science degree in Adaptive Architecture and Computation, specializing in generative/interaction design, from The Bartlett, UCL.
