Jerry Smith

Jerry Smith's work experience spans over several decades, starting with their position as a Systems Consultant III at AT&T from 1985 to 1990. Jerry then served in various roles at AT&T, including Data Networking Account Executive, Managed Services Account Executive, and Client Solutions Executive III, from 1991 to 2013. In these positions, they specialized in technical sales, contract development, and business solution design for AT&T's top clients.

In 2014, Jerry worked as a Business Development Manager at Smith Consulting LLC, where they focused on ecommerce/website services contract development, creative marketing campaign development, and new business development.

After that, Jerry joined TDS Telecommunications LLC in 2016 as a Sr. Account Manager, where they were responsible for network services sales and account development for over 450 business, government, and education customers. Jerry helped customers determine the best technology and services mix for their businesses.

Jerry's most recent position is at Dobson Fiber, where they hold the title of Enterprise Sales Engineering. Jerry is involved in end-to-end solutions design, including AWS-Direct Connect, Azure Express Route, SD-WAN, and other network services. Jerry creates complex Visio network diagrams for internal and external customer presentations and engineers complex network services designs.

Throughout their career, Jerry has showcased their skills in sales, technical solutions design, project management, and customer account planning.

Jerry Smith earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Marketing/Advertising from Oklahoma State University, where they attended from 1976 to 1980. Prior to that, they graduated from Putnam City West High School in Oklahoma City, OK in 1976, completing their high school education with a focus on General Studies.

In addition to their formal education, Jerry Smith has obtained several certifications. Jerry completed the Partner Education Program at Ciena in November 2020. In May 2020, they obtained the FortiGate Essentials 6.2 certification from Fortinet. Previously, in January 2013, they acquired the Wireless Technologies certification from AT&T. Jerry also holds the Senior Systems Consultant certification from AT&T, which they obtained in June 1989.
