Rebecca Halter

Rebecca Halter has a diverse work experience in the accounting field. Rebecca started their career at Schwarz Ready Mix in 2003, where they worked as an Accounting Clerk until 2007. Rebecca then progressed to the role of Accountant from 2007 to 2010, where they were responsible for tasks such as general ledger management, journal entries, budgeting, forecasting, and account reconciliations. From 2010 to 2012, they served as a Business Analyst, taking on additional responsibilities such as tracking cash flow, fixed assets, and inventory controls. During this time, they also gained experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and collections.

In 2012, Rebecca joined Dobson Fiber as a GL Accountant, where they initially worked on the General Ledger for regulatory companies and acted as a liaison between the CFO and payroll/accounts payable. Rebecca then transitioned to serving as the GL accountant for the Corporate division, allowing their more time to manage payroll, accounts payable, and fleet management. In 2020, they were promoted to the role of Accounting Manager, where they managed GL accountants, payables, and payroll. In January 2022, Rebecca assumed the role of Director of Accounting at Dobson Fiber.

Rebecca Halter earned an Associate's degree in Accounting from Redlands Community College during the years 2004 to 2007. Following that, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business Administration, Management and Operations at Southern Nazarene University from 2008 to 2009.
