Sonia Couprie

Sonia Couprie is an experienced professional in sustainable procurement and global sourcing, currently serving as a Steering Committee Member and co-lead for partnerships and content at The Sustainable Procurement Pledge since December 2020. Previously, Sonia held the position of Director of the Global Sourcing Center of Excellence at Smurfit Kappa and was the Global Sustainable Procurement Lead at FedEx, focusing on developing sustainable procurement initiatives across various regions. Sonia's extensive career includes leadership roles at Liberty Global, where the transformation of the procurement organization was a key achievement, as well as significant positions at Belgium Food Group and Mazars, encompassing internal audit, transaction support services, and M&A project management. Academically, Sonia holds an Executive Program degree from MIT Sloan, is a Certified Internal Auditor, and is currently pursuing a degree from the University of Cambridge in Sustainable Supply Chain.
