Steve Spooner

Steve Spooner is an experienced corporate governance professional currently serving as a Board Governor and Vice Chair of the Audit Committee at The Ottawa Hospital since June 2023. Spooner holds multiple board positions, including Board Member at Eunomart and National Academic Director & Lead Instructor for the Audit Committee Excellence Program at the Institute of Corporate Directors. As Lead Director and Chair of the Audit Committee for Docebo, and Corporate Director for KEY DH Technologies Inc. and E Automotive, Spooner leads various committees focusing on compensation and governance. Previously, Spooner was a Corporate Director and Audit Committee Chair at Jamieson Wellness Inc. from October 2017 to May 2023, and held key roles at Wellness Naturals and the Sprott School of Business. Spooner’s career includes serving as CFO at Mitel from June 2003 to June 2019. Educationally, Spooner holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the Sprott School of Business at Carleton University.
