Omer Shem-Tov

Omer Shem-Tov has a strong background in software development and engineering. Omer currently works as a Back End Developer at DoControl since May 2021. Prior to this, they held the position of Full Stack Developer at Micro Focus from February 2017 to May 2021. In this role, they were a senior developer in the backend team, working on the ALM Octane product. Omer utilized Java (Spring) for server-side development, JavaScript/TypeScript for client-side development, and worked with databases such as MSSQL, Oracle, and Elasticsearch.

Before joining Micro Focus, Omer worked at HP Software from October 2007 to February 2017 as an Infrastructure Engineer. Omer collaborated with QA, Dev, and DevOps teams from various groups and products. Omer also built UI/Rest testing frameworks using TypeScript and Jasmine, including report mechanisms. Additionally, they were responsible for creating a private cloud based on VMware infrastructure, which allowed developers in HPE to provision machines and deploy their products based on their specific needs.

Earlier in their career, Omer worked as a SAP Consultant at SRL from November 2005 to October 2007.
