Shawn Henry

Shawn Henry is a board member at DoControl and a former Cybersecurity/National Security Analyst, Contributor, and Consultant for NBC News. Shawn has also served as Executive Assistant Director for the Federal Bureau of Investigation, heading global divisions such as the Criminal Division, Cyber Division, International Operations Division, and Critical Incident Response Group. In their early career, Shawn advanced through multiple roles in the FBI, including Chief of Staff to the Executive Assistant Director for National Security Branch; Assistant Director at the Cyber Division; and Director in Charge of the FBI Field Office in Washington, DC.

Shawn Henry attended Hofstra University, where they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Business Administration and Management, General. After Hofstra, Shawn went on to earn a Masters of Science in Justice Administration from Virginia Commonwealth University. Lastly, Shawn completed their education with a Homeland Security and Intelligence degree from the Naval Postgraduate School.
