Jed has been in the healthcare communications field for over 40 years. Most recently, for over 20 years, Jed was the Worldwide Chairman and CEO of Sudler & Hennessey, a global healthcare communications and consulting company serving clients in over 35 countries. Retirement didn’t really take. Today, Jed is an Executive Director for Medicines Development for Global Health, an Australian-based not-for-profit biopharmaceutical company whose focus is to bring much-needed medicines for some of the world’s most neglected diseases to those who can least afford them.
Jed received his BS in biology at Upsala College, completed his course work for an MBA in pharmaceutical marketing at Fairleigh Dickinson, and did postgraduate studies at Wharton School of Business and at Babson College.
Among his other business-related activities, Jed has worked on the Treatment Advisory Board for NMAC, the National Minority AIDS Council; the Global Medical Forum; and the World Economic Forum’s Global Health Initiative project on Building Healthcare Infrastructures in Sub-Saharan Africa for Aids, TB, and Malaria. Jed has also served on the boards of directors for the Zero Load Foundation (HIV/Aids) and BRITE (Broadreach Institute for Training & Education, involved in healthcare professional training in sub-Saharan Africa).
