Paul Mitchell

Director International Acquisitions and Assimilation, Quality Management at Doctors Beck & Stone International Pet Hospitals

Paul Mitchell has an extensive work experience in the veterinary field. Paul began their career in 1983 working in several practices in the UK and Australia as a General Veterinary Practice with small animals, farm animals and horses, and was involved in sheep artificial breeding. In 1991, they joined the Ministry of Agriculture Fisheries and Food UK as a Veterinary Officer. In 1997, they became a Founding Director of Lansdown Veterinary Services Ltd, developing the budget clinic side of the business and ensuring practice standards are met. In 2002, they became a Director at Hall Mark Meat Hygiene Ltd and Hall Mark Meat Hygiene Ltd. (http://www.hmmh.co.uk). In 2013, they were appointed as Managing Director at Hall Mark Food Safety Group Ltd. Most recently, in 2014, they became the Director of International Acquisitions and Assimilation, Quality Management at Doctors Beck & Stone, where they are responsible for identifying practices outside China that are suitable for purchase, working through the purchase process and ensuring a smooth stress free handover from existing owners, as well as managing the quality of the acquired businesses.

Paul Mitchell attended Christ Church Grammar School from 1971 to 1976. Paul then went on to Murdoch University, where they graduated with a Bachelor of Science (BSc) BVMS in Veterinary Sciences/Veterinary Clinical Sciences, General in 1982.
