Amanda Moore is a Certified Child Life Specialist at Doctors Hospital of Augusta, serving pediatric patients in the Burn and Wound Clinic since August 2021. Prior experience includes a Child Life Internship at Children's of Alabama, where Amanda provided support and therapeutic play for patients in various medical settings. As a Child Life Practicum Student at Columbus Regional Health and Children's of Alabama, Amanda facilitated coping strategies and normalizing play for hospitalized children. Earlier experience involved working at Camp Twin Lakes, where Amanda supported children with disabilities and life challenges. Amanda holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Science with a Child Life Concentration from Auburn University.
