Cory Gober

Cory Gober currently serves as the Nurse Manager of the Critical Care Unit at CHARLIE NORWOOD VAMC, UPTOWN DIVISION since April 2021. With extensive experience in critical care nursing, roles have included ICU Nurse and Student Services Coordinator at Doctors Hospital of Augusta and Assistant Nurse Manager at CHARLIE NORWOOD VA MEDICAL CENTER. In addition, Cory Gober has worked as a Nurse Educator for the US Army and held various critical care positions across several medical facilities, including Director of ICU at Trinity Hospital of Augusta and Chief Nursing Officer at Select Specialty Hospital. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Nursing with a focus on Leadership and Management from Western Governors University, expected completion in December 2023.
