Vaughn Mouton

Vaughn Mouton, RN, BSN, CCRN, has extensive nursing experience primarily at UCSF Medical Center as a Clinical Nurse II in the Neurological ICU since February 2015, with a focus on complex patient populations including Subarachnoid Hemorrhage and various surgical procedures. In addition, Vaughn actively contributes to the San Francisco AACN Chapter, serving as a Chapter Member and Strategic Planning Director, where responsibilities include strategic analysis, leadership development strategies, and collaboration with other chapters and healthcare organizations. Previous roles include serving as President of SFAACN and positions at Saint Francis Memorial Hospital and San Francisco General Hospital. Before pursuing nursing, Vaughn also had a successful career in the beauty industry, holding prominent roles such as the first Resident Makeup Artist for Burberry Beauty in the USA. Educational qualifications include a BSN from San Francisco State University and an Associate's degree in Science and Mathematics from City College of San Francisco.
