Ayesha Shamim

Ayesha Shamim has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Ayesha'smost recent role was as Chief Biochemist & Manager of the Pathology lab at Doctors Hospital & Medical Center Lahore. Ayesha held this position from November 2015 onwards. Prior to that, they worked as a Quality Assurance Consultant at Mughal Diagnostics & Research Labs from March 2021 to November 2021. Before that, they were with Masood Hospital as Manager of Diagnostics and Dialysis and Consultant Biochemist from August 2014 to November 2015. Ayesha also has experience as a Quality Assurance Officer at The SEARLE Company Ltd. in 2013 and as an Internee at Chughtais Lahore Lab in 2012.

Ayesha Shamim (CHQP) earned a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) degree in Biochemistry from Kinnaird College for Women in 2013-2015. Prior to that, they obtained a B.Sc.Hons. degree in Biochemistry from the same college from 2009-2013. In addition to their academic qualifications, they have attained various certifications in healthcare quality, such as Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) from the PIQC Institute of Quality in 2023, and ISO 15189:2012 Assessor from the Pakistan National Accreditation Council in 2020. Ayesha has also completed courses on medical laboratory management and Dengue Management from QMS.9000 and King Edward Medical University, respectively.
