Currently serving as the Chair of the Governance Committee for Doctors Nova Scotia since September 2016, Jane has previously held significant positions including National Senior Physician Leader at Deloitte and Emergency Physician with the Nova Scotia Health Authority. With a diverse background that includes roles as Honorary Treasurer and Board Director for the Canadian Medical Association, Jane has demonstrated a commitment to healthcare governance and policy. Jane's educational achievements span from a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Microbiology and Immunology to a Doctor of Medicine, alongside a PhD in Microbiology and Immunology and an Executive MBA from Ivey Business School, reflecting a strong foundation in both medical and business disciplines.
