Simon Tyler

Simon Tyler currently serves as the Executive Director at Doctors of the World UK, part of Médecins du Monde International, since August 2022. Prior experience includes roles such as Project Manager at Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) South Asia and various positions within MSF UK and Ireland, including Covid Response Coordinator and Head of Mission. Tyler's extensive humanitarian experience spans multiple countries, involving senior representation and management in crisis situations across Pakistan, Myanmar, Nigeria, Turkey, Syria, and Iraq. Achievements include establishing recruitment offices, leading critical incident responses, and fostering partnerships with governmental and non-governmental entities. Tyler holds a BSc Honours degree in Rural Resource/Countryside Management from Liverpool John Moores University.
