Jean Paoli is the co-founder and CEO of Docugami. Prior to starting Docugami, Jean was with Microsoft for over 15 years. While at Microsoft, Jean was the President of Microsoft Open Technologies and the General Manager of IoT Windows Developer Platform.

Jean was responsible for creating MS Open Tech, the Microsoft Open Source subsidiary, initiating, at scale, Microsoft Azure’s all-up support for open source and driving today's 40% of Azure usage. In addition to core technical design, Jean took deep care at building healthy ecosystems at worldwide scale and was one of the key leaders responsible for shifting in a fundamental way, under the guidance of the CEO, Microsoft's strategy to embrace and love open source.

Some of Jean's accomplishments at Microsoft include creating OpenT2T, an IoT platform for schema and object model convergence for similar Things for Windows and Linux; building the majority of the non .NET Azure SDKs (Java, PHP etc); and creating tools to make it easier for open source developers to use Azure (e.g. Java Eclipse tooling for Azure).
