Joshua Levy

Co-Founder & CEO at DOCUMENT CRUNCH

Josh Levy currently serves as Document Crunch’s Chief Executive Officer. Josh co-founded Document Crunch having spent much of his career building upon extensive leadership and expertise counseling the construction industry. Josh graduated with honors from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management and earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of Miami, graduating magna cum laude. Josh started his career as a lawyer in South Florida focusing on complex construction litigation and evolved into a full-service construction practitioner.

Realizing he was more attracted to the business of construction, Josh transitioned to Atlanta to go in-house with and ultimately lead the legal department of a regional business unit (up to $1B annually) of an ENR Top 50 contractor; later Josh transitioned to lead the commercial contracting/claims function for an EPC Contractor focused on renewable energy projects such as solar, wind, and battery storage facilities; and also other complex production facilities in sectors such as Power, Chemicals, Paper and Water. In these roles, Josh has negotiated billions of dollars of contracts for complex construction projects and other ancillary agreements. Josh has also developed deep commercial experience relating to all aspects of construction projects, and the paint points for all stakeholders in the construction industry.

Document Crunch is the culmination of all of these experiences. Josh founded this solution to scratch his own itch and make him better at his job. Josh’s vision is to raise the bar of the entire construction industry which has historically struggled to appropriately manage and understand the risks in its contracts and other project documents.
