Mika Könnölä

Mika Könnölä has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Mika started their career as a Product Marketing Manager at Alcom Corporation, where they specialized in LAN fax server technology. In 1996, they founded Capslock, an application service provider that developed web-to-wireless conversion technologies. Mika served as the CEO and Founder of Capslock until 2001.

In 2001, Könnölä founded Animoi, an ISV that created J2ME-powered animation engines for mobile phones. As CEO and Founder of Animoi, they focused on offering tools for creating and running animations on mobile devices. Mika held this role until 2004.

Subsequently, Könnölä moved on to Adobe Systems, Inc., where they held various positions. From 2004 to 2005, they served as the Senior Director of Product Management at Macromedia, a graphics and multimedia software company. Following Adobe Systems' acquisition of Macromedia, Könnölä became the Director of Product Management for the Mobile and Devices Business Unit from 2005 to 2007.

In 2007, Könnölä joined Documill as the CEO. Documill is an ISV that offers advanced search and document processing solutions as SaaS and on-prem installable options. The company's products focus on enterprise document processing, automation, and reuse. Mika currently holds this position.

Throughout their career, Könnölä has showcased expertise in product management, business development, leadership, and technology innovation.

Mika Könnölä obtained their M.Sc. degree in Computer Science and International Economy from Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan, where they studied from 1991 to 1997.
