Mike Paschal has a long and varied work experience, beginning in 1989 with Engineering Manager at Sequent, where they were responsible for turning around the Clustered Systems Department and reducing critical product defects from 150 to 0 in 12 months. In 1997 they moved to Sun Microsystems as Director of Solaris Clustering, where they negotiated roles with internal engineering organizations, worked with marketing to determine customer priorities, restructured the organization, and published a three-year product plan. In 1998 they joined Clarify as Director of Engineering and Operations, where they led a 300-person development, QA, program management, project management, and sustaining team across five international locations. In 2000 they moved to Nortel Networks as Director of Operations, and in 2001 they moved to Amdocs as Director of Engineering and Operations. In 2002 they joined Navis as VP of Engineering, where they were responsible for fixing customer relationships, introducing new products, improving the quality of the products and services, and growing the services business. In 2007 they joined Configuresoft as Executive Vice President, Product Group, where they introduced a new analytics product representing 15% of company revenue in 12 months, reduced time-to-market for new features, expanded the core offering, and introduced a next-generation architecture and first products based on the new architecture. In 2010 they joined OpenNotus Solutions as COO, where they were the first investor and responsible for all technical operations. The company was sold to PrismHR in late 2013. Finally, in 2016 they joined Digabit, Inc. as VP of Engineering.
Mike Paschal attended the University of North Texas from 1977 to 1981, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
