Harold Nolte is the current president at Dodge City Community College. Harold has previously served as the district president of Blinn College from November 2011 to January 2015. During their time at Blinn College, Harold Nolte provided leadership for the development of a new strategic plan, environmental scan, and facilities master plan for the college. Harold also jointly developed an Engineering Academy with Texas A&M University and signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Baylor University that will result in guaranteed admission and transfer scholarships to Baylor for Blinn students.
Under Harold Nolte’s leadership, Blinn College’s enrollment increased by 7% overall; online enrollment increased by 80%; and noncredit workforce education increased by 57%. The college also received national recognition for its academic transfer rate (49.7%); its Transfer Enrollment at Texas A&M (TEAM) Program; and its athletic teams (five national championships in 2013-15).
Harold Nolte has a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) from Mississippi State University in Higher Education/Higher Education Administration, a Master's degree in Counseling from Baylor University, a Bachelor's Degree in Education from Baylor University, and an Associate's Degree in General Studies from Mclennan Community College.
