Russell Meisels has a long history of work experience in finance and accounting. Russell began their career in 1990 as a Senior Associate at Price Waterhouse Coopers. From 1993 to 1995, they were the Controller at Samuel Goldwyn Films. Russell then moved to Cinesite, a production and visual effects services company, where they were the Chief Financial Officer from 1995 to 2001. From 2001 to 2009, they were the Chief Financial Officer of The Marketing Arm, a consumer product marketing company. From 2009 to 2011, they were the Chief Financial Officer of Flynt Management Group, a diversified private company. From 2011 to 2013, they were the Chief Financial Officer of KSL Media, a media buying agency. From 2013 to 2015, they were the Chief Financial Officer & Controller of Mob Scene Creative + Productions. From 2015 to 2018, they were the Finance Director - California at Ogilvy, an advertising agency. Finally, from 2018 to 2019, they were the Chief Financial Officer of AdSupply, Inc., a top ad network, and from 2019 to the present, they are the Chief Financial Officer of DOGPOUND, an international lifestyle brand.

Russell Meisels attended Beverly Hills High School from 1981 to 1984, and then went on to UC Santa Barbara where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Economics between 1985 and 1988. In March 1992, they obtained a Certified Public Accountant certification from the State of California.
