J.d. Barnes

J.D. Barnes has a comprehensive work experience in the transportation industry. J.D. began their career in 1993 as an Operations Supervisor at Yellow Freight System. J.D. then joined Preston Trucking Company in 1994 where they held various roles, including Operations Manager and Service Center Manager. In 1999, Barnes joined Holland, where they served in multiple positions such as Terminal Manager, Regional Operations Manager, and Eastern Division Vice President. J.D. ultimately became the Division Vice President Operations, overseeing operations in the Eastern Time Zone. In 2019, they moved to Dayton Freight Lines, Inc. as a Special Assignment Manager and later as a Service Center Manager. Currently, Barnes is the Vice President Operations at Dohrn Transfer Company.

J.D. Barnes obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a focus in Marketing and Transportation from Kent State University, completing their studies from 1986 to 1991.
