Alan Obrien

Alan OBrien has extensive experience in operations and supply chain management, currently serving as Sr. Director of WW Operations for Cinema & Group Entertainment at Dolby Laboratories since 2009. OBrien's expertise encompasses various functional areas, including sales and service operations, product planning, direct procurement, supply chain management, and quality engineering. Previous roles at Dolby involved directorships in sales operations, global procurement, and supply chain management. Prior to joining Dolby, OBrien worked at Apple from 2003 to 2009 in roles related to global supply chain management for portable computers and mechanical components. Early career experience includes positions at Commerx, Viaken, and General Electric, where responsibilities ranged from sales management to application development engineering. OBrien holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Polymer/Plastics Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Lowell and completed the GE Technical Leadership Program.
