Diane Gabl Kratz is a seasoned intellectual property professional with extensive experience in IP strategy and operations. Currently serving as Director of IP Strategy & Operations at Dolby Laboratories since 2021, Diane has successfully developed global filing strategies for a vast portfolio of over 25,000 patent and trademark assets and has led a diverse team of IP professionals, significantly increasing employee satisfaction. Prior roles include Senior IP Counsel at Seagate Technology, where Diane managed a multimillion-dollar budget and provided strategic IP advice for a Fortune 500 company, and Associate Attorney positions at Sidley Austin LLP and Morrison & Foerster LLP, where Diane focused on IP strategy for clients in various technology sectors. Diane holds a Bachelor's Degree in Physics from Cornell University and a Juris Doctor from the University of Chicago Law School.
