Patrick Sanchez has a strong background in food safety, quality, and regulatory management. Patrick is currently serving as the VP of Global Food Safety, Quality & Regulatory at Dole Sunshine Company since May 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Global Quality & Food Safety Director at Whole Earth Brands from April 2018 to May 2022. Patrick also held the position of Manager of Global Food Safety at PepsiCo from January 2016 to April 2018. Before joining PepsiCo, Patrick was the Global Quality & Food Safety Manager at Newly Weds Foods from December 2010 to January 2016 and the Research & Development Manager at the same company from September 2007 to December 2010. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Senior Food Scientist at Unilever Foodsolutions from September 2005 to September 2007 and as a Food Scientist and QC/QA Technician at Newly Weds Foods from June 1999 to September 2005.
Patrick Sanchez completed their education with a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Microbiology from the University of Santo Tomas in 1999. Patrick then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Strategy, Finance, and Marketing from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign - College of Business from 2014 to 2016. In addition to their degrees, Patrick has obtained several certifications, including Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, Six Sigma Green Belt, Quality Auditor, and various preventive controls qualifications and instructorships.
