Tonya Tucker

Tonya Tucker has over 30 years of experience in software development and project management, currently serving as the Director of Applications Development at Dollar General since November 1990. In this role, Tonya manages software implementations and upgrades for Finance and Human Resources, focusing on key systems such as the Lawson Financial/HR Suite and Kronos Time Keeping Application. Prior positions at Dollar General include IT Project Manager, IT Team Leader, and Sr. Programmer/Analyst, where responsibilities ranged from project management to software design and testing. Earlier in their career, Tonya worked as a Programmer/Analyst at Servpro, specializing in Cobol programming and system maintenance. Tonya holds a BBA in Information Systems from Belmont University, earned between 1998 and 2001.
