Jon Whidby

Jon Whidby, PE, is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the nuclear industry, currently serving as the Director of Nuclear Fleet Operations & Training at Dominion Energy. In this leadership role since December 2019, Jon oversees Corporate Functional Area Managers to enhance safety, human performance, and plant operations across the nuclear fleet. Previously, as Maintenance Manager at North Anna Power Station, Jon successfully led a substantial team and significantly improved maintenance performance while ensuring safety and operational excellence. Jon's earlier roles include various management positions at the Tennessee Valley Authority and other organizations, including senior project management and engineering roles. Jon holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
