Hemal Kanani

Hemal Kanani has a diverse and extensive work experience. Hemal worked as the Chief Customer Officer at Domino Data Lab from 2023. Prior to that, they held the same position at Astronomer from 2021 to 2023, where they were responsible for customer retention, growth, and expansion. Hemal also built a new customer organization and led various customer-focused programs. Before Astronomer, Hemal worked at Cloudera in various roles, including Vice President of Customer Success & Adoption, Vice President of Global Professional Services & Education, and Senior Regional Director of Americas East. Hemal played a key role in the merger between Cloudera and Hortonworks and led multiple successful initiatives. Hemal also worked at eFront and UBS as a Lead Consultant and BI Project Manager, respectively. Prior to that, Hemal participated in the Information Management Leadership Program at General Electric, where they led multiple projects and achieved significant accomplishments. Hemal also worked as a Service Delivery Project Lead during an internship at GE. Overall, Hemal has demonstrated strong leadership, strategic planning, and project management skills throughout their career.

Hemal Kanani completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Information Systems at Liverpool John Moores University from 2003 to 2007. Additionally, Hemal also pursued a Postgraduate Certificate with Distinction in International Business Practice at St Mary's University, Twickenham from 2010 to 2011.
