Julie Watanabe

Julie Watanabe is a highly experienced performance engineer with a robust background in software testing and performance optimization. Currently serving as a Staff Performance Engineer at Domino Data Lab since January 2022, Julie has taken technical ownership of the company's scale test repository and has maintained frameworks while quickly learning complex, undocumented processes. Prior to this role, Julie worked at Kollective Technology as a Senior QA Engineer, where significant achievements included developing a comprehensive performance testing architecture. Julie's earlier experience includes leading performance testing initiatives at Hawaiian Airlines and holding multiple roles at DataHouse, including Technical Lead and Project Manager, where innovative solutions for healthcare data warehousing were implemented. Julie holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science and Psychology from the University of Puget Sound.
