Sameer Wadkar

Sameer Wadkar has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Sameer is currently working at Domino Data Lab as a Principal Solutions Engineer, leading the Field Solution Engineering Council. In this role, they identify client requirements, implements field assets, and increases adoption of Domino in the Enterprise. Sameer also serves as a Principal Field Engineer and previously held the position of Staff Field Engineer at the same company.

Prior to Domino Data Lab, Sameer worked at Cloudera as a Senior Solutions Architect, where they enabled customers in implementing and adopting the Cloudera and Hortonworks platform. Sameer primarily focused on Hive, Apache Ranger, and Apache Knox based integrations.

Before that, Sameer worked at Comcast as a Senior Principal Architect, where they played a key role in architecting the MLOps platform for deploying ML models and Feature Engineering pipelines. Sameer also worked at Axiomine as a Platform Architect/Big Data Architect/Machine Learning Expert, and at Deloitte Consulting as a Specialist Master/Manager for Predictive Modeling (Unstructured Data).

Sameer's earlier experiences include working at Goldman Sachs Asset Management as a Senior Analyst Developer and at BAE Systems as a Senior Architect/Developer.

Sameer Wadkar holds an MBA degree in Finance from SIMSREE (University of Mumbai), an ACM degree in Applied and Computational Mathematics from The Johns Hopkins University, a BE degree in Electrical from the University of Mumbai, and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from VJTI.
