Matt Kensey, PMP

Matt Kensey, PMP, is an experienced project manager with a diverse range of roles and responsibilities. Matt started their career at Litton PRC as a Software Tester, where they performed system-level and user-level testing, verified discrepancies, and wrote test procedures. Matt then joined Northrop Grumman as a Test Lead, leading the Integration & Test team and providing system integration and acceptance testing.

After Northrop Grumman, Matt worked at NTT DATA Americas (formerly Keane Federal Systems) in various roles. Matt served as a Test Lead, managing a nine-member test team and leading the transition of test efforts. Matt also worked as a Release Lead, coordinating the development and delivery of a specific software release. Later, they became a Release Manager, responsible for delivering software on schedule and managing a team of Release Leads and Documentation Specialists. Matt further progressed to become a Deputy Program Manager, providing operational management and support to the Software Maintenance and Support group. Finally, they served as a Program Manager, leading nearly 50 staff members and managing a budget of over $5 million.

Following their time at NTT DATA Americas, Matt worked at Ciber as a Senior Project Manager, where they served as a project manager for numerous simultaneous projects within the Bureau of IT Project Development and Delivery at the PennDOT PMO.

Currently, Matt Kensey is working at Domino Technologies, Inc. as a Senior Project Manager for the PennDOT PMO. In this role, they manage multiple projects in the Bureau of IT Project Development and Delivery, taking responsibility for the complete project lifecycle from creation to delivery.

Matt Kensey, PMP, holds a Master's degree in Atmospheric Science from Texas Tech University, which they obtained from 1993 to 1995. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor's degree in Meteorology at Millersville University of Pennsylvania from 1989 to 1993. Additionally, in June 2013, they obtained the PMP certification from PMI.
