In 2013, Hinckley interned as a Financial Representative at Northwestern Mutual, gaining experience in the financial industry. The following year, they joined Walmartvendor LLC as a Consultant Intern, contributing their knowledge and skills to the company.

From 2014 to 2016, Hinckley worked at Brigham Young University, where they held roles such as Lead Data Specialist, Teaching Assistant, and Research Assistant, showcasing their expertise and passion for data analysis and research.

In 2015, they briefly worked at Boeing as a Pricing Analyst, where they assisted with pricing analysis, developed internal tools, and contributed to software development processes.

Since 2016, Hinckley has been employed at Domo, Inc. David has successfully migrated databases from on-prem servers to AWS with zero downtime. David Hinckley received their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Finance from Brigham Young University, where they attended from 2009 to 2016. In 2016, they went on to obtain a Master's Degree in Information Systems from Brigham Young University. Additionally, in February 2020, David acquired certification as an Amazon Web Services Solutions Architect Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
